The Process

Here are the next steps and this is how we H.E.L.P you:

Hear your concerns

After you’ve made your initial enquiry, one of our friendly specialist debt agents will contact you via your preferred method (phone, message, or live chat).

Evaluate your situation

During our conversation, we aim to fully understand your circumstances. This process usually takes around 30–45 minutes of your time.

Listen

We will gather details about your creditors, outstanding debts, and review your living expenses. This helps us determine what you can realistically afford to repay. We’ll then discuss the solutions available to you and assist in preparing your case.

Prepare

Depending on the chosen solution, we may request documents to validate your identity, employment status, and financial situation. You may be referred to a trusted, regulated partner based on the solution selected.

Watch our short video explaining this process in more detail.

Support Hub

Now you have registered your enquiry you can use additional services to support you with your debts and other areas in your life. We offer a signposting service that will quickly enable you to find information to help with vulnerabilities, tackling gambling or to find support for your mental health and wellbeing.

Your health and wellbeing is at the forefront of what we do

We have partnered with a number of organisations and initiatives to help provide greater support for anyone seeking our debt solutions. We understand that every person contacting us has unique circumstances, so we have endeavoured to work with organisations skilled and experienced in supporting even the most complex and critical situations.

Register a Vulnerability

UK Debt Service are proud members of the Vulnerability Register Service. This allows us to be alerted to someone’s situation and vulnerabilities which needs to be taken into consideration – whether they are contacting us for the first time or where an existing relationship is already formed with us.

Signposting for Help

UK Debt Service understand that there are many everyday circumstantial problems which may contribute towards a person’s debt crisis. We therefore believe that access to tailored and sensitive support is a must, which is why we’re members of the National Support Network.
